    Kawasaki Disease is a disease of blood vessels, arteries and capillaries which predominantly occur in the children below the age of five years. It is vasculitis which if left untreated can lead to coronary artery aneurysm. The etiology of the disease is still not very well understood. Remittent fever is the major symptom for clinical finding of the disease. Various controversies are being undergone for the current diagnostic procedures, but Cardiac imaging has shown the best outcomes. Treatment type are based on how the patient reacts to the primary medication dose of Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIg) and should be induced within the first week of prevalence of disease to decrease the risk of cardiac involvement.
