Biography

Prof. Zelmira Macejova, MD, PhD, MPH (specialization: internal medicine / rheumatology) is the Deputy Head for Education at the Department of Internal Medicine UPJS LF and Vice-dean at the Faculty of Medicine UPS. She also works as a medical doctor/rheumatologist at the Department of Internal Medicine of L. Pasteur University Hospital in Kosice. Her research interests are in resistant forms of inflammatory rheumatic diseases: rheumatoid arthritis, systemic connective tissue disease with multiple organ manifestations; aetiology, clinical signs, and treatment.
