Professor in exercise physiology at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences. Married with 2 children. Finished his PhD in 2001 on the topic “Recovery after and adaptations to strength training”. Works as a part time consultant for the department of Sports Nutrition at the The Norwegian Olympic and paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sport.
