Biography
Dr. Tim Sandle (BSc, MSc, PhD) is Head of Microbiology at Bio Products Laboratory. He is also a visiting tutor at the University of Manchester in UK, and a board member of the Pharmaceutical Microbiology Interest Group (Pharmig). Dr. Sandle is a chartered biologist (Society of Biology). Dr. Sandle has over twenty-five year experience of microbiological research and biopharmaceutical processing. This includes experience of designing, validating and operating a range of microbiological tests including sterility testing, bacterial endotoxin testing, bioburden and microbial enumeration, environmental monitoring, particle counting and water testing. In addition, Dr. Sandle is experienced in pharmaceutical microbiological risk assessment and investigation. Dr. Sandle serves on the editorial board of several science journals and has undertaken extensive peer review. He has authored and edited ten books; written over thirty peer reviewed papers; and has contributed over two hundred technical articles and book chapters.
Research Interest
Dr. Sandle's research interests include disinfection, microbial diseases, sterilization, and environmental microbiology.
