A/Prof Steven Kossard established a dermatopathology division for the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia and became the Foundation's specialist dermatopathologist. He runs a Professorial Review Clinic at Darlinghurst and has set up the first clinically based service dedicated to diseases and tumours of the skin.
In 2000, he established a Fellowship in Dermatopathology. The department is recognised as being an excellent specialist training facility. A/Prof Kossard has published over 200 articles in international dermatology journals and in other reputable publications.
