Prof/Dr. Rosario Rodríguez-Arnaiz has received her PhD in National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México) Studies during the period of 1976-1979 PhD 1982 Currently, she is working as Career Professor in National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mëxico.) She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as General Secretary of the Science Faculty during 1996-1999. Her research has included: Genetics, Genetic Toxicology, Molecular Biology of Drosophila melanogaster, Cytochrome P450 genes, Biomarkers of exposure in human cells Based on this research and fellowship training she has received several awards and honors, such as: Ten Awards in National and Latinoamerican Research Conferences. She is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like: None Expert Reviewers for journals like: Toxicoloy in vitro, Food and Chemical Toxicology, Journal of Etnopharmacology, Genetics and Molecular Biology, Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology, Turkish Journal of Biology She has authored 75 research articles/books. She is a member of Seven national Societies and also of FlyBase, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Environmental Mutagen Society, The Genetics Society of America, Sigma XI,. She has honoured as Fogarty International Research Collaboration Award 1996-20002.
Her research interest is in Genetics, Genetic Toxicology, Molecular Biology of Drosophila melanogaster, Cytochrome P450 genes, Biomarkers of exposure in human cells
