Robert Freeman is currently Professor of Pharmacy Administration in the Department of Pharmacy Practice & Administration. He has over 20 years’ experience in the global pharmaceutical industry having served as a leader of public policy and health economics functions for AstraZeneca and Sanofi among others. Prior to his current position he was Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Director of Graduate Studies at the Rangel College of Pharmacy at Texas A&M Health Sciences Center. He is the author of over 75 research and professional publications in comparative effectiveness research, public policy and pharmaceutical industry economics. He earned his BS in Pharmacy and his MS and PhD degrees in healthcare administration from the University of Mississippi.
