Biography

Dr. Raman Tanwar is a minimally invasive surgeon specializing in Urology, Andrology and Uro-Oncology. Growing into a keen Urologist and Key Hole Surgeon, he has written and edited four books on general surgery with over 30 publications and presentations in national and international conferences and journals. Serving as an Assistant Professor in General Surgery, he found his niche in simplifying surgical concepts and surgical troubleshooting. He hopes to integrate his flair at writing, performing minimally invasive surgery, creative designing and constantly updating himself with literature and technology for a better surgical service to those ailing around me and possibly across the globe.He is a reviewer of various international and national journals in the field of Urology and Surgery, and a member and fellow of many reputed Indian and global organizations. He is also the executive editor of Journal of Young Medical Researchers. One of his books has been recently recognized and awarded by the British Medical Association.

Research Interest

Dr. Tanwar's main research interests include Men's Health and its integration with allied specialties, Andrology services and establishing clear guidelines for andrology practice, Vasectomy and microsurgery, Simplification of problem based medical education and its integration with technology and minimally invasive urology and surgery.
