Biography
Dr Philippe Charlier is a French forensic pathologist and physical anthropologist. He is assistant professor in the Department of Forensic Pathology (University Hospital, Garches, AP-HP, West Paris University) and researcher at the Laboratory of Medical Ethics (University of Paris 5). He received his PhD from the Sorbonne (Paris) in 2005. He has published extensively in the fields of forensic anthropology, osteo-archaeology and history of diseases/medicine. His area of interest includes Archaeology, Biological Anthropology, Cultural Anthropology, Forensic anthropology, Bioarchaeology Skeletal biology, Biomedical ethics, Paleopathology Identification process, History of diseases/medicine.
