Paul-Antoine Miquel

Biography

Paul-Antoine Miquel is a professor of contemporary philosophy at the University of Toulouse. He is a member of Erraphis laboratory. He specializes in French philosophy and philosophy of biology. He experienced first to have proposed a new reading of the relationship between science and philosophy in the work of Bergson. Then he became interested in the critical analysis of computer metaphors in molecular biology. His thinking today is the concept of biological organization and the problem of the transition from the physical organization in complex systems of phase transition type and biological organization.
