Biography

Dr Nickesha Anderson is a Neurology Research Fellow, Neuroscientist with a strong interest in stem cell differentiation for disease modelling, drug discovery and transplantation therapies for neurological disorders. Excellent written and oral communicator with 6+ years of experience working on a multi-lab collaborative research project using pluripotent stem cells. My prior teaching experience includes introductory Biology, Stem Cells, and Human Brain Anatomy.

 ,Research skills include: Human embryonic stem cell culture maintenance and differentiation; flow cytometry; insitu hybridization; immunocytochemistry; immunohistochemistry; vibratome sectioning; polymerase chain reaction (PCR); real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR); quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR); compound and fluorescence microscopy; perfusions; protein gel electrophoresis; mini and maxi probe preps,Chondrogenics.
