  Intensive Pulsed Light, Radiofrequency and Cooling in Aesthetic Treatment of Unpleasant Facial Scars

  Background: With the advent of non-ablative devices to treat various aesthetic demands, promising results appeared and are set to become a safe, efficient, and reliable method for scar treatment. In this work, we are going to study the effect of E light (IPL+ RF+ cooling) in treatment of facial scars. Patients and Methods: This study included forty eight patients with persistent post-surgically corrected old and recent facial scars. E light was used, using different filters, according to the skin color. The IPL fluence varied between 38-42 J. RF fluencies varied between 6 and 10 J, and the spot diameter was 8 × 32 mm.
