Dr. Kia Noelle Johnson is an Associate Professor within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders , University of Houston. Dr. Johnson specializes in fluency and fluency disorders, with a focus on childhood stuttering. Her current research interests include investigating the role of bilingualism in speech disfluencies presented by bilingual children who do and do not stutter and investigating the influences of temperamental variables on developmental stuttering in young children who stutter.
