D.P. Chong

Biography

Prof. D.P. Chong received his PhD at Harvard University in 1963 and did postdoctoral studies at Oxford University and the University of Wisconsin before joing the faculty at the University of British Columbia. He retired in January 2002, but has remained active in research. He has authored over 200 publications (mostly in applications of density functional theory), many with internatiomal coauthors in Australia, Brazil, Belgium, Croatia, France, Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, Sweden, Taiwan, and USA. He is the Editor-in-Charge of the series of review books with the overall title of Recent Advances in Computational Chemistry, published by World Scientific Publoishing Company of Singapore.
