Dafna D Gladman

Biography

Dr Dafna D Gladman received her MD from the University of Toronto in 1971. She was appointed to the staff of the U of T in 1977, initially at the Women’s College Hospital. She progressed through the academic ranks achieving Full Professor of Medicine in 1992, by which time she was working at the Toronto Western Hospital, where she was appointed Senior Scientist at the Toronto Western Research Institute (TWRI). Since 1995 she have served as the Deputy Director of the Centre for Prognosis Studies in the Rheumatic Diseases, the Director of the Psoriatic Arthritis Research Program with the University Health Network, and the co-Director of the University of Toronto Lupus Clinic. Her academic activities include appointment as the Training Program Director for the U of T Rheumatology Program from 1992 to 2003.
