  Chronic urticaria is a common condition characterised by intense pruritus, wheals and erythema. A 56-year-old female presented with chronic urticaria which persisted despite multiple therapies. Laboratory and radiological investigations were performed and a mucinous breast cancer detected. Within days of surgical resection of the breast cancer, the urticaria resolved.
