Almazov IA

Biography

Dr. Almazov Ilya Alekseevich in the period from 2001 to 2005 he studied at the Orenburg Regional Medical College and trained as a nurse in the surgery. In 2013, he successfully graduated from the Orenburg State Medical Academy (Orenburg, Russia). During his studies he worked in the scientific societies of clinical anatomy, surgery and traumatology. Repeatedly he was the winner of competitions and prizes by taking part in international student conferences. Currently, he is working in residency at the Northwestern State University named after Mechnikov (St. Petersburg), at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and as a researcher at the Department of wounds and wound infections Military Medical Academy named after S.M. Kirov, RF Defence Ministry (St. Petersburg). Also is receiving his MD in Military Medical Academy named after S.M. Kirov, RF Defence Ministry (St. Petersburg) during the period of 2013 - 2015. His research interests include the development of biopolymers to replace skin imperfections, dermal equivalent development, optimization of reconstructive surgery patients with the consequences of injuries, study of the effects of radiosurgical scalpel "Surgitron". His works have been published in journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia in the sphere of science. He is a speaker at various international conferences focusing on the plastic surgery and injuries.
