Biography
I graduated from the Medical School of the University of Milan and received a Ph.D. in Immunology and Allergology. I have a long-standing interest in the field of cancer research, tumor immunology, and tumor-promoting inflammation. Our collaborative group actively contributed to understanding the links between chronic inflammation and tumor progression. A special focus of my scientific research is the role of tumor-associated macrophages and strategies to target them in therapeutic settings.
