Ahmed Shadab passed MBBS and MD (Medicine) examination in 1986 and 1990 from JNMC, AMU, Aligarh. Then he joined Department of Medicine JNMCH, AMU, Aligarh as clinical Registrar on 1st March 1990 and continued in the same position till 4th August 1992. Then on 5th August 1992 he was appointed as Lecturer/Assistant professor. Then on 5th August, 2001 he was appointed as Associate Professor and continuing in the same position till date. From 2001 to 2004 (3 years) Dr. Shadab worked as a medical specialist and Rheumatologist at a tertiary care Al-Amiri Hospital in Kuwait. There he had an opportunity of working with some of the internationally famed Rheumatologist like Prof. Carol Black and Prof. Terence Gibson from London Hospital, UK. Dr. Shadab attended many national and international conferences in India and abroad on Rheumatology, Cardiology and Diabetology.
