Yi-Che Shih

Biography

Dr. Shih is a Chief Executive Officer at Education and Training Center of Coast Guard Administration, Taiwan（R.O.C.）and also an adjunct assistant professor at the Dept. of Maritime Police in Central Police University and the Institute of Ocean Technology and Marine Affairs, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Marine Environmental and Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University, Taiwan in 2009. His research focuses on marine environmental management and marine environmental monitoring, marine environmental assessment and marine policy. He works at Coast Guard Administration, Executive Yuan, Taiwan for more than 19 years to implement maritime security, search and rescue, marine environmental protection and conservation and more than 10 years teaching and research in the university.
