Biography

Designation Assistant Professor Affiliation Department of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences, School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), H12 Islamabad, Pakistan Biography Adeeb Shehzad obtained his Bachelor in Pharmacy from the Department of Pharmacy at the University of Peshawar, Pakistan in 2003. He worked as a Production Pharmacist at Glaxo Wellcome, Pakistan (2005–2007). In 2008, he became a member of the Lab of Cellular Biochemistry and completed his M.S. from the School of Life Sciences at Kyungpook National University, South Korea (2008–2010). In February 2014 he was awarded with a Ph.D. degree from the School of Life Sciences and holding a Research Professor position at Kyungpook National University. Currently, he is Assistant Professor at Department of Biomedical Engineering, National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He is also serving as a Research Consultant for University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. His research interest is mainly oriented to the screening and development of plant isolated compounds as anticancer agents, as well as the in vitro and in vivo studies of drugs on modulation of different signaling pathways in different types of cancers, particularly colon cancer.
