Abstract :

This workshop will detail an approach to comfortable clinic conversations regarding options for cataract surgery to include Femtosecond laser. Next, surgical planning for refractive outcome success. This includes necessary diagnostic testing and formulas to optimize outcomes. The workshop also includes discussion regarding surgical flow to create efficiency in the operating room. Included are pearls for docking, patient selection and optimal Femtosecond treatment strategies. Surgical video will supplement the discussions. Forms used to allow effective communication will be presented. Lastly, managing expectations and creating promotional opportunities in the post-operative period. This workshop is for the surgeon new to Femtosecond laser cataract surgery and will also be very relevant to those with extensive experience.
