Abstract :

The talk will discuss the etiology and staging of retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) and various treatment options. It will then focus on newer algorithms of combination therapies in the face of long term follow up. This will include our experience at the HHC/Mt Sinai using these techniques.

Biography :

Ronni M Lieberman completed her Medical degree at SUNY Downstate in New York, and then Ophthalmology Residency. She completed her two-year fellowship in Medical and Surgical Retinal Disease at Mt Sinai Medical Center, in New York. She is the Director of Ophthalmology at Queen Hospital Center, both a New York City Health and Hospital Corporation and the Icahn School of Medicine, Mt Sinai Medical Center affiliate. Her main interests include Infectious Retinitis and ROP. She has published papers extensively on a number of topics in retina and vitreous.
