Differentiation Of Fungi

To develop the methods to facilitate the analysis of soil microbial communities evaluating the use of cellular fatty acid profiles have been performed as to rapidly characterize a method and fungal isolates are differentiated. When standard morphological methods are compared with this approach significantly requires taxonomic expertise to characterize unknown isolates in less time. Fatty acid profiles physiological data provided when used in conjunction with morphological characteristics have the resolution of sorting large numbers of fungal isolates and potential to increase the accuracy. Powerful molecular tool for the detection and analysis amounts of DNA is the polymerase chain reaction. In real-time PCR for more sensitive and specific detection of pathogens today, hybridization probes are often used for determination of mutation analysis or gene regulation instead of intercalating dyes like SYBR Green.
