Xiao-Yang Mo

Biography

Dr. Mo received a PhD from the Institute of Genetic Engineering of Sonthern Medical University, China. After graduation, he engaged in the research fields of Virology and Development Biology. He worked on the molecular mechanisms of fetal malformations caused by intrauterine viral infections, mainly on congential cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Mo was a PI on a Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars of Hunan Province and several grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has more than 30 research articles published in peer reviewed journals. He is also invtited as reviewer for several journals and grants.

Research Interest

Congential diseases, perinatal viral infections, microarray, molecular pathway analysis.
