Dr. Steve Madix is a tenured Associate Professor of Audiology at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. He is the founding President of the Louisiana Academy of Audiology (LAA) and serves on many committees for the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) as well as a site visitor for the Council of Academic Affairs for Audiology and Speech Pathology (CAA). Dr. Madix was a graduate of the 2014 Jerger Future Leaders of Audiology Conference (JFLAC) which is sponsored by AAA. His personal research interests include early identification of hearing loss and the use of mobile technology with hearing assessment.
