Biography

Dr. Sidharth Mehan, Ph.D., M.Pharm (Pharmacology) is working as Associate Professor in Department of Pharmacology at ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga, Punjab, India, one of the best well renown and prestigious Pharma education and research institute in India. Dr. Mehan has more than 10 years of academics, research and administrative experience to his credit and simultaneously working as Doping Control Officer on empanelment in Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India, Delhi and working Senior Clinical Dietitian & Nutritionist in online medical agencies in India. He has published more than 75 research and review articles in prestigious National and International Journals. His areas of research include molecular pharmacology, Behavioral Pharmacology, Neuropharmacology, Sports Sciences and Traditional and Complementary systems of Medicine. The thought provoking academic talks delivered by Dr. Mehan as an invited speaker during National and International conferences reflect his excellent oratory and communication skills. He has so far guided 24 M. Pharm Research projects and 04 Doctoral Theses. Furthermore, he is associated with social and animal welfare activities for last 12 years. Dr. Mehan has bagged several Research paper awards in National and International conferences. Dr. Mehan is a member/in-charge of various 75 national/international Pharmaceutical and Clinical Therapeutic Committees. He is Editor/Reviewer of various national and international journals and magazines. Dr. Mehan is Author of four international book chapter. He did major contributions to obtain a challenging and responsible position in the field of Pharmaceutical Education/Research that fosters creativity and innovation through confidence, flexibility and freedom to work for achieving the organizational goals coupled with enhancing knowledge and professional skills and to explore the novel therapeutic strategies and phytochemicals in the development and drug discovery in the field of pharmacology.

Research Interest

To understand the molecular mechanisms involved in neurodegenerative disorders (Alzheimer’s, Autism, Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Brain Hemorrhage), renal & cardiovascular processes, animal behavioral activities and identify the strategies to improve the communication with special emphasis on drug development and herbal/phytochemical approaches in the area of drug screening procedures.
