Shuxia Wang is an Assistant Professor of Graduate Center for Nutritional Sciences at University of Kentucky. She has received her PhD in Physiology from Peking Union Medical College in China in 1997. She has completed her MD from Shanxi Medical University in China in 1991. She has completed her postdoctoral training in the Department of Pathology at University of Alabama at Birmingham 2000-2004. She received Postdoctoral Development Award from University of Alabama at Birmingham, Scientist Development Award from American Heart Association, Travel Award from American Society of Nephrology and Wethington Award from University of Kentucky. She is an active grant reviewer for American Heart Association and also a reviewer for many journals
