Biography

Dr. Scott D. Daffner believes in meeting patients individual needs through comprehensive evaluation and treatment designed to help them achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. Many spinal conditions can be treated by non-surgical techniques, and he believes in a conservative approach to the management of spinal disorders. Surgery is just one treatment option. With the resources available through our Department and Institution, he could offer an array of leading edge techniques and proven classical methods to provide patients with the best orthopaedic care possible. He specialized in the management of degenerative and traumatic disorders of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, with a special interest in revision surgery.

Research Interest

Daffner Scott research intrests center around specialty of spinal surgery and focus primarily on clinical studies, including spine trauma & spinal cord injury, degenerative disease, cervical myelopathy and deformity.
