She worked as an Assistant Professor of Eukaryotic Genetics, Arizona State University at the West campus Division of Mathematical and Natural Sciences in August 2003.She is a Fellow, Arizona Nevada Academy of Science, She won New College Outstanding Service Award, Faculty Mentoring Award, Arizona State University, Faculty Women’s Association Three are given each year, awarded for mentoring of students and other faculty.
