Dr.Moustafa A. Mekawy is an AssistantProfessor of Tourism Planning at the Tourism Studies Department, Menoufiya University http://www.menofia.edu.eg/en/index.asp, Egypt since 2009. His principal research interests include poverty reduction, models and typologies, managing needs and expectations, building internship plans, investment and strategic planning in the tourism sectors. He holds degrees from the Universities of Alexandria http://www.alexu.edu.eg/ (B. Sc., M.Sc.) and Suez Canal University (PhD). He is well known as an author and consultant on travel & tourism planning, investment, and feasibility studies in Egypt and the Arabian Gulf Area.
