Biography

Professor Mingqian Tan completed his Ph. D in Analytical Chemistry at Chinese Academy of Sciences, China and is currently working as full time professor at Dalian Polytechnic University, China. He was felicitated wit several awards like Award for Hnundred Talents programme, CAS president award for Scientific graduates etc. and has number of publications in several Reputed International Journals. His research interests include Food nanotechnology; Analytical chemistry; Food analysis; Food chemistry; Nano-encapsulation for controlled release; Drying; water dynamics; Food safety; Risk analysis; Functional food ingredients; Maillard reaction; Low-field nuclear magnetic resonance; Magnetic resonance imaging; Fluorescence bio-imaging; Bio-materials.
