Dr. Jagannath P. Panda is Research Fellow (rank of Associate Professor) at the premier Institute for Defense Studies and Analyses (IDSA), an autonomous body of the Govt. of India, New Delhi. His research interests are: Chinas engagement with International Institutions, Sino-Indian Relations, Tibet, and China in South Asian politics. He is also the Managing Editor of Peace and Development Digest of the Foundation for Peace and Sustainable Development, New Delhi. Prior to joining at IDSA, Dr. Panda worked as Centrally Administered Fellow (CAF) at the Indian Council for Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi, India. He received his doctoral degree from the School of International Studies (SIS) of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi in 2006-07. He is a recipient of the V.K.KrishnaMenon memorial Medal for his excellent academic record in international law and diplomacy from the Indian Society of International Law (ISIL), New Delhi.
