Dr. Jae-Youn Ko is a professional hospitality practitioner. His career has been commenced with F&B waiter and successively filled Director of F&B Department, the Director of Convention & Banquet Service Department, the Director of Human Resource Department, and the Director of the Headquarters of Foodservice Business at Sheraton Grand Walker Hill Hotel (5 Stars) in Seoul for 20 years. He received his Doctoral degree from Sejong University in Korea and Diploma of PG Course at HIM Hotel School in Switzerland. He joined Department of Food Service Management in Kyunghee University in 2001. His research foci have been Hotel F&B, Food Service Marketing, Wine and Convention Service Management. He is the President of Korea International Sommelier Association and also served on 4 journals society as a President. He had obtained numerous extramural and intramural grants and had over 80 refereed publications. His service philosophy is to serve whoever needs his service with his time, expertise, and gladness.
