Dr. Haifeng Xiong is currently working in the department of chemical engineering of University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. His present research works focused on the hydrothermal stability of catalysts and supports in biomass conversion reactions, production of biomass-derived chemicals, the synthesis and application of novel carbon and carbon/oxide materials in catalysis, bimetallic catalysts and electron microscopy. These works are funded by NSF,DOE and NSF-GOALI. Since obtained his Ph.D in Physical Chemistry at Soochow university in 2008, Master and BSc in Analytical Chemistry and Applied chemistry at South-central university for Nationalities in 2005, he has authored more than 30 peer-review publications.
