Jack (Hailong) Guo is a researcher at David H. Smith Center for Vaccine Biology & Immunology, University of Rochester. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999 from Yangzhou University and then finished his research for Master degree in National Key Laboratory of Veterinary Biotechnology in Harbin, China in 2002. From 2003 to 2006, he had performed his PhD study in Iowa State University. Since then, he received postdoctoral training in the field of NK cell biology and influenza immunology. He has served as an invited reviewer since 2007 for several journals in virology and immunology field including Journal of Virological Methods, Virus Research, Journal of Medical Virology, Journal of Clinical Virology, Virology Journal, Clinical and Vaccine Immunology, Infection and Immunity. He is serving as an Editorial Member of Virology & Mycology Infectious Diseases. He is the member of ASV, ASM, AAI, ISIRV.
My research interest is primarily focused on biology of viral infection and anti-viral immunity including humoral response, innate and adaptive cellular responses against pathogens.
