George Pack is Professor of Chemistry and Associate Vice President for Research at the University of Louisville Louisville Kentucky Dr Pack completed his PhD in Biophysics at the State University of New ork at Buffalo in 1973 He did postdoctoral research in Chemistry at the University of Rochester 197475 in Environmental Medicine at NYU Medical Center 197475 and in Genetics at the Stanford University Medical Center 19751978 He was Chair of Chemistry at Louisville from 1998 through 2010 He received the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Departmental Leadership in the College of Arts and Sciences He has been Associate Vice President for Research since April 2007He was on the faculty of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford from 1978 to 1998He is a member of the Biophysical Society AAAS and the American Chemical Society and chairs the Kentucky DoD EPSCoR committee.
