She got her PhD in Nutritional Sciences at University of Washington in 1995. She is a member of the National Community Engagement Steering Committee of the CTSA (Clinical and Translational Science Awards) and the Community Coordinating Committee of the Community Health Engagement Program of Indiana’s Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute. Dr. Boushey’s research interests include dietary assessment methods, adolescent dietary behaviors, school-based interventions, food insecurity and applications of quantitative methods.
