Bikash R. Pattnaik is a faculty in the Department of Pediatrics with an adjunct appointment in Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is also an investigator within the McPherson Eye Research Institute. He received his PhD in Biophysics from University of Delhi while working at University of Delhi and All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, India. He has ophthalmology training in University of Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France and Kellogg Eye Center, University of Michigan. He has received many honors and is a member of many prestigious scientific organizations such as ARVO and ASBMB. Besides his publications he reviews for journals like PLOS One, Experimental Eye Research etc.
