Ante Mandić, MA is a PhD researcher at Department of tourism and economy, Faculty of Economy, University of Split. Starting from 2013th he is enrolled in several courses including Managing tourism development, Introduction to tourism, Tourism organization, Hospitality management and Management of DMCs. Currently, he is finishing his PhD in a field of applied economics. As a lecturer, he has participated several different scientific international conferences in 2017th including 12th International conference Challenges of Europe “Innovative responses for resilient growth and competitiveness”, 4th International Scientific Conference TOURISM AND CREATIVE INDUSTRIES: TRENDS AND CHALLENGE“ToSEE Tourism in Southern and Eastern Europe” and 4th International multidisciplinary scientific conference on social sciences and arts SGEM 2017. He has publicized several original research papers in international journals indexed in Scopus and WoS. In 2014th he was awarded Faculty award for an important research paper for a paper entitled “Visitor management tools for protected areas focused on sustainable tourism development: the Croatia experience”, Environmental Engineering and Management Journal, (2014) Vol. 13(6): pp: 1489-1495 in co-author with prof. Lidija Petrić PhD. In his research Ante Mandić mostly focus on Sustainable tourism development, Economic valorisation of public goods and commune pool resources integrated into tourism development and Tourism development in protected areas.
