Biography

Alexandra is a biologist specializes in clinical biochemistry and monoclonal antibodies development. She graduated from School of Biology of Lomonosov Moscow State University. She received her PhD for biotechnology research concerning food safety and quality. Afterwards she joined the team of physicists and hematologists in the Hematology Research Center where she successfully developed a microarray for combined analysis of immunophenotype and morphology of leucocytes in human blood for leukemia and lymphoma diagnosis. Currently she and her colleagues from HyTest company are investigating the properties of cardiac markers, particularly troponins, in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Also she is working on the development of monoclonal antibodies specific to cardiac troponins and other targets.
