    The tourism industry is acknowledged as one of the most significant sectors of the national economy in many countries. Community-based tourism has been recognized as an alternative to being able to provide community welfare and community empowerment towards sustainable tourism. The tourism industry of Bandarban hill district is sprawling in an unplanned manner. To achieve sustainable development goals, tourism activity is required to be carefully managed. The research aims to investigate the economic prospects and how the current executed model of Community Base Tourism (CBT) located in Debotakhum, Rowangchari, Bangladesh is functioning.
