Objective: To design an application for cephalometric diagnosis with results comparable to manual tracing; an application (UCeph) for Android was designed to analyze the concordance of the diagnosis of the application and the "manual tracing", the radiographic image was loaded and printed on photographic paper; nine measurements were plotted: six linear and three angular, using the Björk-Jarabak analysis. The results of the application were compared using the kappa test; no significant differences (p>0.05) were found between the two groups, demonstrating very good reliability in the use of the application. In addition, a financial feasibility analysis and an impact evaluation were carried out. The results of the impact evaluation suggest that UCeph had a greater impact in reducing time to detection and human error, as well as helping to produce bette.. View More»
