Yong Shi

Biography

He was awarded PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong in the year  2006.  He holds a Master Degree M.Eng. Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China (2002) and a Bachelor’s Degree B.Eng. Thermal and Power Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China (1999).   He has extended his valuable service as an Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering at The University of Nottingham Ningbo,China since few years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. His academic interests are in the broad area of micro/nanoscale fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer, energy technologies and computational modelling. In recent years, he has been focusing on Energy Conversion and Storage Technology .His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  His research interests as an Associate Professor reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.  He is the Editorial Board Member of reputed journals and serves as a member of various associations, apart from being an author for many books.
