VR Rao is a Professor of Department of Anthropology in University of Delhi. VR Rao received his BS and MS degrees from V.R.College, S. V. University in 1972and 1974, respectively, and obtained his PhD degree from Bomaby University in 1990. His research interests are molecular anthropology, human genome diversity and ancient migrations, evolutionary biology of disease processes, genetics of complex phenotypes, community genetics and human welfare. He has published many articles and presented at many international conferences.
