Vincent JB Robinson has served on the MCG Faculty Senate Executive Committee since 2006. He serves on the MCG School of Medicine promotion and tenure committee of the MCG Faculty Senate. Dr. Robinson is a past vice chair of the University Faculty Senate 2005- 2006. During his tenure as vice chair he presented the first comprehensive faculty development proposal to the GHSU senior leadership for adoption, on behalf of the faculty. He also developed the Forum for the Future invitational lecture series where national and regional experts present solutions to anticipated campus issues of the future. He also developed The Spirit of GHSU Award to recognize administrators who were instrumental in supporting and developing faculty across disciplines on the campus. Dr. Robinson has been active on campus wide faculty service such as: GHSU President's Cabinet 2005-2006; the Faculty Development Subcommittee of the University Faculty Senate 2004-2009; Board of Directors MCG Research Institute Inc. 2004-2007. He has been an Educational Innovation Institute Scholar GHSU 2011-2012. He has been a member of the new faculty selection committee, Department of Medicine GHSU since 2007. He is a Mentor for faculty in the Department of Medicine Mentoring and Development Program since 2006.
