Biography
Dr. Takashi Akasaka is currently working as Interventional cardiologist / Cardiologist at Wakayama Medical University which is at Wakayama, Japan and also as a Professor in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine of Wakayama Medical University in Japan. He is also vice president of Wakayama Medical University from April, 2014. He is an interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in the field. His main research interest is physiologic evaluation of coronary artery disease and invasive coronary imaging. He has performed a series of studies in these areas and has conducted many clinical trials.
