Biography

Dr. Susumu Ikehara is a Professor in the Department of Stem Cell Disorders at Kansai Medical University, Japan. He received his M.D. in the year 1968 and his Ph.D. degree in 1977 from Kyoto University, Japan. Dr. Ikehara has received numerous awards. He is on the editorial boards of various international journals (Stem Cells, etc.). He provides key reading material for scientists and physicians in the field of bone marrow transplanation in autoimmunity.

His research interest includes Stem Cells, Autoimmunity, Cancer Detection and Prevention.
