Subarna Banerjee

Biography

 She was awarded PhD in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. She has extended her valuable service as a Research Scientist at Stony Brook University, New York, USA since June 2015 and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Her work has been published and presented in over 35 peer-reviewed journals and national and international conferences and has filed 4 US patents as well. Her research interests include chemistry, nanotechnology, nanomaterials fabrication, composite materials, semiconductor materials, carbon nanomaterials, coatings, thin films, energy storage, sustainable energy; optimization of lab scale processes and transferring the process technology to produce materials at large volume product development and IP analysis and generation. Her international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.  

Research Interest

 Chemistry, nanotechnology, nanomaterials fabrication, composite materials, semiconductor materials, carbon nanomaterials, coatings, thin films, energy storage, sustainable energy; optimization of lab scale processes and transferring the process technology to produce materials at large volume product development and IP analysis and generation.
