Mr. Spellman holds a Masters of Biological Sciences with a major in Molecular Immunology from the University of Minnesota, a Bachelors of Arts with a major in Biology from Lawrence University and has six years of laboratory research experience focused on inflammation and tumor immunology. He serves as the Principal Investigator of the NMDP/CIBMTR Research Repository and oversees research sample collection and utilization for the CIBMTR and BMT CTN. Mr. Spellman has co-authored more than 88 publications and his current research focuses on discerning the immunogenetic and immunobiological factors that influence the outcome of unrelated donor hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
